Sara Katz Razzaghi
Sara Katz Razzaghi is a mission-driven leader with a passion for educational equity and people-centered policy. Sara joined the Inspiring Educators team in 2019 and began in her current role as Executive Director in 2022. Her leadership at IE is fueled by a love of the arts, an obsession with problem-solving, and, above all, a steadfast care and compassion for educators.
Sara brings a range of experience in both the education and nonprofit sectors to her current position. Prior to joining IE, Sara served as Program Director for a nonprofit partner of Boston Public Schools, where she ran career exploration and workplace readiness programs for middle and high school students. While she has taught students at multiple grade levels, she regards early childhood as her favorite– both intellectually stimulating and deeply rewarding. She continues to advocate for early childhood interests as a Board Member and Committee Chair at Raising A Reader Massachusetts.
Sara holds a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis and an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She lives in Boston, MA with her family where she enjoys watching basketball (Go Celtics), keeping up with her community garden plot, and exploring different dog parks across the city with her pup, Kemba.
