To be able to engage in dialogue on sensitive topics in a way that is grounded, confident, compassionate and professional requires intentionality and practice.

In this program, leaders will explore IE's model for difficult conversations and strengthen their communication skills in order to successfully navigate sensitive topics in a way that is grounded in their values as a leader. We’ll dive into this topic the best way we know how; through reflection, practice, feedback and more practice.

  • Identify specific strategies to navigate difficult conversations in various contexts.

  • Practice engaging in a difficult conversation with a partner.

This program can also be offered virtually. Our virtual programming is delivered through Zoom and includes: 

  • An expert IE facilitator, trained for virtual program delivery 

  • A comprehensive slide deck developed for the virtual context 

  • Opportunities for whole group, small group, and 1-on-1 discussion 

  • Option for IE tech host to facilitate smooth implementation

This program can be offered in a large group (capped at 40 in person and 25 virtually) and small group (capped at 10) format.
