Leverage the PRES Model to hone foundational leadership skills needed to thrive in your role
Program Overview
As a community, leaders will think through essential topics in people leadership like how to show up as a leader, how to be responsive to others, and how to adapt meetings and processes to the moment.
Leaders will consider fundamental questions:
How can you get yourself & others present using the most resilient part of the brain when many are experiencing fear or grief?
How can you show up with authenticity and vulnerability?
How can you help people to feel appreciated, empowered and tethered to your mission?
How can you most effectively and authentically frame a difficult present and hopeful future for your staff?
This program serves as a community space for leaders to debrief their experiences and engage in dialogue and mutual support with other leaders.

Why are people leadership skills critically important for leading communities through challenging times?
Recent events have led to unprecedented levels of trauma for school leaders and those they lead. In order to meet the moment, leaders must develop skills and habits that will nurture their own wellbeing and the wellbeing of others. We believe that leadership behaviors can promote inclusivity, establish and continually impact school culture, and ultimately create the context for engagement and learning. We also know that leaders cannot pour from an empty cup. Focusing on people leadership skills in this moment is absolutely critical in order for leaders to rise to this occasion and move their communities forward.
